anyways, moving on, i went to the cosfest on sunday, and the first thing that struck me was, 'holy hell, these people must have fuckloads of money!!' it's true, the costumes were just crazy, and alot of them wore wigs and boots and everything. there were 2 katamari cousins, which was cute, and about a billion bleach cosplayers. bleach really is the anime-of-the-moment, and to think i've gotten tired of it already. starting to think my tolerance must be really low or something. now i keep thinking of the days when i watched naruto, and every other episode just seemed to consist of naruto repeatedly getting beaten up, and repeatedly dragging himself up off the floor. or something like that.
i'll add photos later (ones that i stole), cos blogger's being an ass and is failing to respond.

didn't i say there were LOTS of bleach people? yep, lots of 'em. and this was when all the cosplayers were on stage. talk about being swamped...
BWAHAHAHAHAHA. i HAD to add that. can't believe someone actually cosplayed him!!
while i'm sure everybody's weel and sick of bleach atm, this was irresistable, cos of that little kid in the kon costume. so kawaII!!! *ahem* i should move on.
i have no idea who this was meant to be, but the costume's pretty cool...

this waas a surprise: the one dressed as kos-mos, it's a GUY. for those who don't know, kos-mos is the skimpily-dressed 'female' to the far right. didn't believe it till i stuck my face in his to get a good long look. scary!
hands up, rebel swine! muahahahaha!! there was a great star wars skit that ended with darth maul getting his butt kicked by supergirl and a howthefuckdidthathappen crowd.
anbu ninja and a random sound ninja. pretty cool, although the best naruto cosplayer was the anbu kakashi. funny how this guy didn't have any pics of that.
saiya from blood +. pretty cool, but i think she should have pulled her skirt to sit lower on her hips. looks a tad too guai to be running after chiropterawhatchamacallits.
and these two gundam seed cosplayers won a trip to japan to participate in the world cosplay summit. want to know their secret? they started stripping halfway through their skit! i was drawing at the time, but i heard the emcee tell them to please put their costumes back on (wtf) so the judges could look at their outfits. plus, during the performance, they made alot of very suspiciously breathy sounds. the real cincher was their ability to deliver cheesy lines without appearing embarrassed, but who cares about that? they stripped!! i thought the katamari cousins should have won =( meh. good luck to them anyways.
i need to get a camera. this guy doesn't take the most fantastic photos. oh well. there's always the year-end bash....
