philip island day trip
purnima, yan fun, maria, wing and i took a day trip to philip island with the college square tour thingy, and we had tons of fun!! okay, so it was a horrid 2-hr drive to philip island (not at all improved by the presence of a screeching group of ah lians on our bus), they cut the national park out of our itinerary, and the food was expensive, but STILL, we had such a blast. and we cam-whored like crazy. i think i'm not going near a camera for a while now... anyways, as always, just click on the images for a larger view.
we had to wait ages at college square for the bus to leave (some people were late), and so spent our time...taking pics! ahaha.. and then we had a rest stop at this gorgeous lake, and so took photos..again.
first we went to the koala enclosure. we only saw about 4 koalas, and only managed to get a few pics of them, so we took lots of ourselves! bwahahaha. other people in the group thought we were nuts, and not wrongly so.
then we went to the cowies rocks, and it was lovely, lots of great views. purnima went crazy, she was asking for photos every 50 meters!
after that, it was off to see the penguins swim up to the beach. we weren't allowed to take pictures, so you guys are spared heheh. they were really cute though~! after that, it was off for dinner at this hick town, can't remember what it was called. there was this group of trailer trash types in the parking lot, dancing to really loud music and playing on skate boards. they must've been on drugs or something. they tried approaching us, but of course we got our asses outta there. then those stupid ah lians were late in returnign to the bus, so we were forced to wait like mad while the other bus left. so when they finally got on, we very bitchily asked for the time (really loudly) and complained about missing our trams and yada yada...that kept the lians quiet for about 5 minutes. heheh we're so mean.
