dude, the past week's been so bad haha...projects and stuff have been due so i've been missing lotsa sleep cos i'm doing alot of it last minute (as usual) and then waking up late and rushing like
mad to get to school on time. anyways, had a nice break from work last night, went to crown
again to watch charlie and the chocolate factory (woohoo!). god johnny depp just rocks as a big weirdo, even with that kooky haircut. he plays those queer, quirky little characters that i love so bloody well, i think it'd be interesting to meet him for real. i mean, you can expect people like lindsay lohan and hilary duff to be total peroxide-bottle cases, but johnny depp...haha i really wonder. and the oompa loompas...muahahahaha i want one too XD the soundtrack is fantastic, danny elfman really outdid himself. now i wanna see the corpse bride when it comes out muahahahahahahahaha......watching jesus christ superstar on friday night, it's a secularised version (meaning that they got rid of the religious elements of it).
finished my monologue that's due next week...maybe i should post it up? i'm kinda pretty happy with it actually, unlike my poetry. bleargh i haven't gotten that assignment back yet, but i dreamt i failed it the other night. can't tell you how freaked out i was by that. i woke up with this feeling of utter dread, and now i can't shake the feeling that i crapped it up. and don't EVER mention that goddamn seminar presentation ever
again. makes me depressed just thinking about it. two-week break's coming up, hooray! but will be bogged down by tons of projects (finishing by little ones for spacelab, plus starting on the major ones for that tute as well as for visualisation, starting my r&p research paper......phew).
weather's really nice now, we're into spring. so during lunch we all pop out onto the lawns to sprawl in the sun, and i'm down to just 2 layers of clothes (shirt, jeans, jacket) so yup. alot more bearable. it's still freezing in the early morning and late evening though. speaking of which, i
hate going home late here, cos there're just some weird people around at night. like the other time, there was a drunk at flinders street, the typical tramp sort. he had the 'homeless man' uniform: big coat, woollen beanie, straggly hair and beard, even the beer bottle in a paper bag; and he was walking around yelling. some woman shouted at him to get help and stop drinking and he started yelling something back at her. i couldn't quite hear it, all i know is that it had alot of f-words. then just last night, some girl on the tram went a little ballistic. she looked pretty sane, about late teens, early 20s sorta age, dressed pretty normally, but she just went a little nuts. she sudenly started kicking all the seats near her, and for a second she wanted to punch the glass panel, then she hopped off the tram, and sat on the back of a cab that had stopped at the traffic light, and began shouting at the tram. i was listening to music, so once again i couldn't hear, but i doubt it was pretty. everyone was just staring at her. it's a little freaky, cos you never know when someone might just unleash all that on an actual person rather than just a tram seat. argh, give me weird drunk mats on the mrt anytime. at least all they do is dance.
